Feel Pain, Cry All You Want...It Is Perfectly Natural
This is about something that has bothered me for quite some time now. Something very disturbing and uncomfortable. And really, can we just pause for a minute to think when and why we started becoming less human, less homosapien, and less anything living at all? Why would we wanna turn 'robots' and all emotionless on the outside while actually burning inside? Just because you don't wanna break down and make people see you as weak...just because you don't wanna look like a coward or less of a man...just because you are a super hero single mom and you don't want anybody thinking things sometimes fall out of control on the emotional side?
CAN WE PLEASE STOP THIS CRAZE ALREADY?
Maybe you are sad, angry, hurt, ashamed, frustrated, etc, and you are at the breaking point. You just wanna cry and scream and cry. So why should you even entertain certain thoughts in your head? Why should you put other people over your physical expressions of emotional hurt? When did we prefer acting all robotic just because we don't wanna look weak and vulnerable about something very human and natural?
Please do me a favour...CRY! Feel free. Let it all out without guilt. Anger, frustration, hurt and pain can totally be expressed through tears, and that is perfectly natural.
The extraordinary thing is that tears don't just expose our state of mind to others, they evoke strong emotions in the people who see us cry, and can also be an expression of empathy for others passing through actual pain.
Personally, I think crying is a very valuable emotion...maybe that is why i don't restrain them tears. I mean, can you even explain that rare relieve you feel after letting your heart out in tears?? It is heavenly!
So ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, pain deserves to be felt and tears deserve to be shed. Please don't you ever think so low of yourself if you ever have to cry sometime, anytime. Stop thinking what the world is gonna make of you, just let it out. And don't forget, you are never alone on this road.
P.S. I would like to read all of your opinions and criticisms about "crying" when hurt- are there times and places we should or should not cry and why?? What are the factors we should consider, or should we consider anything at all?
Please let us interact.
