Basically you upvote the lottery post, type in 4 numbers in the comments and wait to win. I don't think that this is a game where you can win (chances too low) but I just played it anyway.
The good thing is that the author will keep 25% of the jackpot but will spend 35% for promoting Steemit in some way. The winner of the pot will get 40% or $100 if the pot is less.
