DUNKIRK was moving, fabulously moving. I saw it twice. There is no question it should win, but we humans have appallingly poor recall of a film that came out last spring...not to mention of a war that ended 73 years ago and affects most of us probably not one bit (except for my parents, who lived through it, and me, who learned about parts of it through my family’s experiences in Italy).
