ICO is a new type of crowdfunding "that allows investors to capitalize on the rise of blockchain markets"[1].
I still want to warn you about the risk, so much crowdfunding start today that maybe you will get trap if you choose the bad one. To participate to a coins in a initial offering you just need to register in the official website and buy tokens with for example Bitcoin, Ethereum or other cryptocurrencies.

Personally i will try to invest in some ICO and i did already in TaaS if you want to know...
I will do it again but to not speculate because nothing is done yet I will say nothing about it now.
I found the way of crowdfund with smart contract is a good solution. So i'm actually learning deeply solidity to get better about coding them and maybe create one for real oneday.
