Finally managed a human shaped jumper!
So i have been crocheting for almost 2 years now and havent really delved into clothing all that much. This is mainly because my first attempt - a chunky knit for alex - came out so badly, it put me off! Seriously - hunchback of notre dam would have appreciated this a christmas present.
This is the first one that has come out human shaped and wearable! Still have sleeves to do and join, but love this lightweight filet pattern so far :)
I remember that jumper with a mixture of humour and abstract horror. Hehe. For it to have fit I would have needed to have had 1 full length arm and the other about half the length, not to mention having to compress my not-so-modest frame to half its size. All that aside I absolutely loved the yarns feel, colour and look. Sadly even I wasnt misshapen enough. Which surprised me. Haha. Everything @kimbolo86 had crocheted since has been perfect. X
I shouldve gone down the route of moulding your body to fit it then :) couple of belts, some cling film and some good old elbow grease and we wouldve got you in that jumper!
Would've taken a lot of all of those.
