The two crocheted friends look so cute @sammy1109.
I think it's always useful to keep a prototype for future reference and also for yourself to appreciate your effort and progress in the craft.
I have found making flower petals a bit tricky. I think it's because I haven't used wire or any stiffener to help with the shape.
Umm in the patterns I have seen no stiffener is required, tulips with petals are easy to make and look good, but if you want to shape it with something else it's ok !!👍
