Gobierno australiano, empresas y universidades emprenden proyecto de energía renovable basado en blockchain
Recientemente el gobierno de Australia anunció un financiamiento de $8 millones de dólares australianos para la realización de un proyecto de distribución de energía y agua, impulsada por la tecnología blockchain, en la ciudad de Fremantle.
Según el blog oficial de Power Ledger el proyecto incluirá a la Universidad de Curtin, la Universidad de Murdoch, el Instituto de Computación de Curtin, LandCorp, CSIRO/Data61 y CISCO, como socios del proyecto. $2.57 millones de dólares australianos serán proporcionados directamente por el gobierno, mientras que $5.68 millones serán financiados a través de los socios previamente mencionados.
