Accused Of Murder, Teenage Married Couple Behind Bars

Nicholas Shaugnhessy and Jacklyn Edison are accused of reaching out to an informant on how to go about getting rid of someone.

Nicholas Shaugnhessy is being held on a $3 million bond and his wife is being held on a $1 million bond for the alleged murder plot.

Nicholas Shaugnhessy's father was an Austin jeweler who has built quite the name and reputation for himself.

According to reports, Nicholas's mother called 911 and reported a break in and that she could hear gun shots very close. After proper investigation, authorities noticed there wasn't a force of entry which led to suspicions of foul play within the family.

The young couples home was searched where authorities found text messages from Nicholas asking someone to kill for money.

The report also said there were strange text messages between the young couple, but nothing detailed.

Documents show that Nicholas Shaugnhessy was supposed to get $8 million when his parents died. The couple have been charged with first degree felonies.
