Rats nailed the accused

That too dead ones. Yes, you read it absolutely right. A confident trickster reportedly trying for the civil services killed his 7 year old neighbor and was acting innocent. He was pretending to be a well wisher of the grieving family who's only son had gone missing. The police too were clueless as there was no clue as to where the boy had gone and nor was there any ransom demanding call. Police investigation had come to a halt as there was no clue to dig.

The crime came to light when neighbors knocked on the doors of 27 year old Awadesh Shakya to find the reason for the terrible stink that was disturbing the everyone. Awadesh promptly pulled out a dead rat and showed it to neighbors. The neighbors were however not convinced as the smell was intolerable.

The police took it on them to investigate the matter and to everyone's surprise found a chopped rotten body of a 7 year old boy packed in a suitcase kept in the bed drawers. Apparently, the accused had been sleeping over the bed with the dead body of the little boy whom he killed thoughtlessly remained in the suitcase just underneath the bed.

The parents were shocked to know that whom they trusted as their friend was actually the person who stole their happiness. The 7 year old boy was killed by his 'bhaiyya' (elder brother in Hindi). Police have arrested the accused and the investigations are on to find the motive behind the crime.
