Rajasthan Royals lost in playoffs in IPL 2018

Rajasthan Royals played the best game of the season in the Eliminator clash at Eden Gardens. Even without Jos Buttler and Ben Stokes, they played well above their weight to give KKR a super fight. But in the end, they lost the game by 25 runs to get eliminated from IPL 2018.

Kolkata Knight Riders had to overcome many things, not just losing an important toss but a superb fifty from captain Dinesh Karthik, followed by Andre Russell which kept them relevant even as the pitch eased out. Kuldeep Yadav then did the magic to stop the Royals after they had got off to a excellent start. The Knight Riders will now face Sunrisers Hyderabad in Qualifier 2 on Friday to join Chennai Super King's opponent for the final.
