Unknown Facts Of Cricket | Episode-6 (Consecutive Overs)
The Incident Of Bowling In Two Consecutive Overs
According to the rules of the game, the same bowler can not bowl again just after an over.
But there are such instances in the history of cricket!
This was actually happened because of the umpires's fault. Examples of such incidents in the test history are only two.
☆1 Australian leg-spinner Warwick Armstrong has bowled two overs one after one in the same innings in the 1923 Ashes series.

☆2 This same work was done by Alex Moore (New Zealand) against England in 1951. Interesting fact is that, he was also a leg break bowler.
