The Wanderers averages 31 per wicket, which is par for the course for all South African venues but this has been a strange series in that the spinners have been getting a lot more purchase than the seamers. However, with two, back to back surfaces having helped spin, this could be a different one.

It could go back to how it played in the Test between these two teams when both sides picked up five seamers apiece or it could be a very batting friendly surface like the one on offer during South Africa's chase of 438 against Australia. Don't expect a spin-friendly pitch.

Secondly, the return of AB de Villiers should help South Africa. He averages 138.4 at this venue, so despite his return from injury, can expect a big score from him in this game. Hashim Amla's form has deserted him so far but this is a ground where he averages 94 - and these are two batsmen who will look to get going.
