The second match of the official four-day series between India A and South Africa A is being played. This match is being played at Srikantadatta Narasimha Raja Wadiyar Ground in Mysore. Indian captain Wriddhiman Saha won the toss and decided to bat first. The Indian team had scored 417 runs in the first innings while South Africa scored 159 for 5 at the end of the second day's play.

Despite falling 5 wickets, South Africa, batting brilliantly, did not allow India A to take any wickets in the first session on the third day.
Markram scored his 11th century of his first-class career and Vian Mulder also played a fine 155-run partnership.
After playing a superb innings of 161 runs, Markram Mohammed was bowled by Siraj. After his dismissal Vian Mulder also completed his century. This was his third century in first-class cricket. Vernon Philinder 21 and Dan Piedt 11 played well in the lower order.

South Africa A's innings was reduced to 400 runs. Mulder was unbeaten on 131 runs but was all out from the other end. India A got a lead of 17 runs on the basis of the first innings.
Kuldeep Yadav took the maximum 4 wickets for India but he also spent 121 runs in 29 overs bowling. Apart from him, Shahbaz Nadeem took 3, Mohammad Siraj took two while Shivam Dubey took one wicket.
India A batting 6 overs
India A got a 6-over bat at the end of the day. Openers Priyank Panchal and Abhimanyu Easwaran did not allow the team to take any blow. At the end of the day's play, the team scored 14 runs without any loss.
