Have you ever tried to look at an image of one color and call another? If you try, then most likely you know that it is quite difficult, but if you have not tried it yet, try - for sure you will be very surprised by the result.

Overlaying information
The phenomenon characterized by the fact that one type of information overlaps another is called in science the term "interference". But what is most interesting is that in the first place for the perception of a person is exactly the text, not the color component, which, in fact, explains the difficulties in order to name the color.

And here begins to operate the same trap, which we all know as cognitive distortion. In other words, in the process of human utterance of textual data, their meaning is included, thereby initiating a "system failure" and distorting human perception. Naturally, ultimately, the task is performed by a person, and he overcomes the difficulties that have arisen before him, but this requires some effort and time.

What is the point?
Of course, speech is one of the greatest "discoveries" of all mankind. Scientists believe that it is this fact that is decisive when it comes to isolating the human brain from the animal world, because it is directly related to the human mind and its thinking.

After the oral speech appeared, a written one appeared, and they, it should be assumed, are two sides of one "medal". More specifically, the formation and recognition of speech are controlled by specific departments of the brain, which do not coincide with those departments that are responsible for color recognition. And it is at this stage, when a person pronounces color, that he encounters the most serious obstacles in the experiment, because he is already on the "machine" pulling to read and pronounce what is written.
