Pottery Water Jug - Black polished Clay / Keramikkrug - Schwarz polierter Ton
An other item of my Celtic pottery in the technique of black polished clay. There is no glaze on it, the surface is made by polishing the leather-hard clay with stones a few times and then it was burned it in the ground for 7 days.
This technique is old, very old to say correctly, you may find it in museums in the category of bronce age cultures.
This object is waterproof and useful as water bottle, the standing spot is only 5 cm in diameter, the height is 19 cm.
Ein anderes Objekt meiner keltischen Keramiken in der Technik des polierten Tons. Die spiegelnde Oberfläche hat keine Glasur, der Effekt entsteht durch polieren des lederharten Tons mit Steinen und anschließendem Erdbrand über 7 Tage.
Diese Technik ist alt, sehr alt um genau zu sein, du kannst Objekte in dieser Technik in den bronzezeitlichen Abteilungen der Museen finden.
Dieses Objekt ist wasserdicht und kann als Wasserkanne benutzt werden, der Standpunkt ist nur 5 cm im Durchmesser, die Höhe 19 cm.

No. If it tries to fall it will not fall completely only a little bit. So if it is 3/4 full there is no water coming out.
