DIY~ Upcycled Beach Art Creations with the Kids:)

This year for Father's Day we decided to create bird art for our avian scientist Dad out of all our old beach treasures! My boy happily went hunting around his collections he'd stored from our many beach explorations and gathered his favorites while I heated up the hot glue gun.

We played and moved around shells and rocks and then realized that our beach glass collection was the perfect fit for making little bird sculptures!

We placed them along one of my son's favorite pieces of drift wood to pose them as if they were a resting flock and voila~ a loving piece of art of catch the light for a centerpiece on our family table!

His Dad just loved it and it was a fun way to a create something incredible out of nothing. We had fun with this one!
