HOW I MADE THIS PATTERNED BAG WITH ORDINARY SEWING MACHINE.

Hello Steemit, how have you been? I'll be sharing how I made the beautiful bag below. I've always admired patterned bags when I see one and I was like "why not try and make one? " so I decided to give it a trial.

MATERIALS USED

• Leather of choice
• Pencil
• Scissors
• Bag pins
• Hooks
• Magnet or Zip

PROCESS

• The measurements varies depending on how big and how small you want the bag to be.

• I use these for the small hand and in addition to this I cut a 1 by 50 inches rope for the longer hand.

• These are for holding the bag hands. Two on the front, two at the back and one each on both sides.

• I made a cross pattern on the leather with a pencil so I can easily trace it on the machine and i use a pencil so I can easily clean it after sewing and it won't stain the bag.

• Carefully I trace the marked area to achieve the pattern.

• Above is the result. After getting the pattern, I stitched the sides and bottom sides then I turned it out. I applied magnet in the middle top end of the bag and I fixed the hands with bag pins.

• Above is the final look of the bag. You can either use magnet or zip depending on your choice.
