Everybody around me is carving pumpkins and I'm over here with raw thumbs from carving wood.
This is my first attempt ever at carving a skull so please be nice. I'm also still carving so if you have any tips, I'd love to hear them!

Well, it does resemble a skull, so, well done. My best tip would be, use sharp tools. Sharp fixes everything. :)
Yeah my tools are sharp but I think the problem I was having was I was using small precision tools to carve the whole thing. I bought a bigger knife and things are a bit easier
