Blank Canvas
Everywhere I go, I go with the full right to make it mine. It’s my belief that every human was created with an ability to fashion stuff and make things out of nothing. This ability was apparently evident in the lives and actions of the early men. Finding themselves in vast expanse of land, they made use of what they had around them to create what they needed.
It’s this creative spirit that has lead to all the advancements we have so far experienced as humans. Sadly, it’s starting to feel like all these good is leading to no further good. It could be very well argued that these advancements have left many of us too lazy to come up with anything new.
The saying “necessity is the mother of invention” can’t be truer in this instance. With the already made solutions to our needs readily available, there’s rarely any new thing to channel our creative minds to (or at least that’s what many have come to believe).
You’ve got the ability to make things be the way you want them to. You’re under no obligation to conform to whatever standards others might have set. You’ve got the same powers that enabled them set those standards so that means you can equally do the same (or even better).

As with the world, the exact same principles apply in Steemville.
You have been gifted with a blank canvas and the only thing required of you is to fashion it into whatever you please. You can choose to make it your diary, photo album, art studio, video library or whatever else you can think of. You can choose the type of energy you want to be around you.

You have all this power but yet think it’s a must for you to write?
The only reason you currently feel it’s not possible to do that which is in your head is because you’ve not seen it getting enough attention. Now attention can rarely be gotten without consistency and persistence. When you see Steemville as a blank canvas, you should be confident enough to paint it the way you want. Nothing is impossible because you’re in charge!
By the way, if God is the creator and I was made in the image of God, it means I’m a creator too.

The thing is that, there's no "right direction". Just do what you want and what makes you happy. That's the "right" thing to do.

That notwithstanding, you can still paint yours to be the envy of Pablo Picasso, Vincent van Gogh, Leonardo da Vinci etc.
The "cheat sheet" is whatever you make it be. lol
