Pimp Yo Banners! Use J-Wildfire To Create Intricate And Beautiful Steemit Banners!

Today I will teach you how make an amazing banner for Steemit!

We will use the free program J-Wildfire to create a beautiful fractal.

"Wildfire is a free and user-friendly image-processing software, mostly known for its sophisticated flame-fractal-generator. It is Java-based, open-source and runs on Windows, Mac and Linux operating systems."

This application can create close to an infinite amount of completely original fractals! Amazing because Steemit respects original content and photos.

Why Is This Important

Just recently you can change the blue background of your steemit page.

Now people will be looking for accounts who took the time to get a makeover!

You don't want to look like this anymore:

Let's PIMP it up

Download J-Wildfire from their official website

Install and open the program.

You are now in Wildfire's launcher, click [Start]

Now that you are in the application click [Random batch]

You will be given a set of random fractals, click the [Triangel] button to get rid of annoying triangles.

Scroll through your fractals and double click one you like. If you don't like any of them you can create a new [Random batch].

Now click [Post symmetry] and then edit your type to X_AXIS (or Y_AXIS). Have a play around until yours looks cool enough.

Now click Mutagen to create a group of mutated and randomly re-edited versions of your fractal. In the dialog box click [Add from Editor]

Now choose a mutation you like, if you want a new selection click [Add from Editor] again.

Click the one you like and then click [To editor]

Click [Save] if you are happy with your creation, any and all of the above actions can be repeated if needed.

Now you have a fractal that is 100% original and you can use for your steemit banners.

I would crop the image into a banner using a image manipulation program like GIMP, Photoshop, etc.
