Charcoal Portrait #2

This is my second self portrait for my Life studies class at Cal State University Fullerton. Instead of starting with a toned paper I decided to do this with more drawing than erasure, like I normally prefer. It's alway scarier to me this way as mess ups are harder to erase but I had fun still :) My friend sam was hanging out and passed out next to me so I decided to add him in.
I used vine charcoal and compressed charcoal as well as a chamois and blending stump .
