Aleksa's Book Review: Intelligence is Not Enough

De Bono's early work doesn't seem to have the oomph that his later studies do. This one primarily focuses on the fields of IQ, various intelligences and how none of that matters when faced with creative thinking and problem solving.

It doesn't outline any particularly useful insights other than a few measures that one can take in parenting to ensure a creative and healthy development of a child's mind, but it's an enjoyable enough book to stand on its own.

Expect nothing mind-blowing, as it's a re-tread of his early ideas that anybody entering this field will have been acquainted with either way. It's a book without faults or strengths, it kind of just is.
