well... One of my favourite painters of all time is definitely Alfons Mucha. A Czech master of art-nouveau, fin-de-siecle, a painter, poster designer, even jewelry designer....
His belle epoque styled women were often portrayed with some kind of frame, and EOS logo seemed like a perfect fit for such a frame.
