Eddie the Head(Iron Maiden)

Fanart of my favorite band as well as my entry for @sammosk's current creative contest.

Process:

Before I start working on the actual sketch I scribble some rough poses in ballpoint pen

Then I make the sketch itself(I use a 2B pencil). I based Eddie's appearance on the one from the earlier albums(Killers in particular)

Refine the sketch

I do the linework with a brush pen

Finally, I add the details, I used a brush pen for the shading, a 0.1 liner for the guitar parts and skin wrinkle and a white gel pen wherever else necessary(also, lots of whiteout)
