For some things two years is a long time, but there are others where time passes without you noticing. A few days ago I turned two years on this platform and that's why I wanted to make this assessment brief, but I hope it's concise.

When I arrived here I didn't have any knowledge about cryptomonas, blockchain and much less Steem. So it has been two years of learning, with mistakes, with successes. At first with uncertainty and, increasingly, with the certainty of being in an extraordinary and beautiful project.

The way the project was presented to me, was almost like an ATM: you publish and collect money. And it is worth saying that at that time it worked like that, due to the price of the Steem at that time. That's why many people were frustrated when they saw the price drop and felt that the ATM no longer worked the same way.

But all those "disappointed" people did not understand that the Steem platform was something much bigger and more promising. An opportunity to create a space of open communication, without censorship, without limits, with the only limitation of "being creative and original".

There were many goals that I set at the beginning, but life took me in different directions. For example, one of my goals was to link closely with the German-speaking community, but I can hardly publish some of my content in German, since the work with the Spanish-speaking community absorbed me completely. But I mention this not by way of regret, as the work in the latter community has been very satisfying and I would like to be able to devote more time and effort to it.

What I consider most valuable about this platform, apart from the aforementioned advantage of having a space where I am totally free to express myself, is that Steem forces you to renew yourself, to venture beyond, to try new challenges.

All these qualities are absorbing, because you always want to go further and do more. That's why for many users Steem has become the center of their activities. And I can assure you that it's worth it.

At this moment and for the first time in these two years, I have had to step away from several commitments I made on the platform, in order to complete a real life project as a musician, a unique opportunity that I have to take advantage of. But fortunately there are many people who have shown their faith in this platform and who demonstrate that they know and want to work as a team. I would like to take this opportunity to recognize the extraordinary work that @historiasamorlez and @equipodelta have been doing in our community of @la-colmena and that has allowed everything to continue working and that we continue to support the Spanish-speaking community.

I consider that the birth of the tokens has been a great contribution and the birth of the tribes, an important step. I have great expectations in the new beehives and I consider that it will be of great importance the change that is going to be made to be able to convert your Steem Power to Steem in 4 weeks, instead of the 13 established so far.

I am convinced that the future of Steem is promising and I take this opportunity to invite the whole community to get involved in all aspects of this platform. One of the most important aspects of "decentralization" is the opportunity (which I would call "need") to get involved in its governance. We are the ones who decide the present and future of this platform.

Para algunas cosas dos años son mucho tiempo, pero hay otras en las que el tiempo se va pasando sin darte cuenta. Hace pocos día cumplí dos años en esta plataforma y por eso quise hacer este balance breve, pero que espero resulte conciso.

Cuando llegué acá no tenía ningún conocimiento sobre criptomonedas, blockchain y mucho menos Steem. Por lo que han sido dos años de aprender, con errores, con aciertos. Al principio con incertidumbre y, cada vez más, con la certeza de estar en un proyecto extraordinario y hermoso.

La forma en que me presentaron el proyecto a mí, era casi como un cajero automático: publicas y cobras dinero. Y valga decir que en ese momento funcionaba así, debido al precio que tenía en ese momento el Steem. Por ello la frustración de muchos al ver la caída de los precios y sentir que el cajero automático ya no funcionaba igual.

Pero todos esos “decepcionados” no entendieron que la plataforma Steem era algo mucho más grande y prometedor. Una oportunidad de crear un espacio de comunicación abierta, sin censura, sin límites, con el único limitante de “ser creativo y original”.

Hubo muchas metas que me tracé al principio, pero que la vida me llevó por rumbos diferentes. Por ejemplo, uno de mis objetivos era vincularme estrechamente con la comunidad germano parlante, pero apenas puedo publicar parte de mi contenido en alemán, pues el trabajo con la comunidad de habla hispana me absorbió por completo. Pero ésto lo menciono no a modo de lamentación, ya que el trabajo en esta última comunidad ha sido de gran satisfacción y quisiera poder dedicarle más tiempo y esfuerzo.

Lo que yo considero más valioso de esta plataforma, aparte de la ventaja antes mencionada de disponer de un espacio en el que soy totalmente libre de expresarme, es que Steem te obliga a renovarte, a aventurarte a ir más allá, a probar nuevos retos.

Todas esas cualidades resultan absorbentes, pues uno siempre quiero ir más allá y hacer más. Por esa razón para muchos usuarios Steem se ha convertido en el centro de sus actividades. Y puedo asegurar que vale la pena.

En este momento y por primera vez en estos dos años, me he tenido que alejar de varios compromisos que he hecho en la plataforma, para poder completar un proyecto de mi vida real como músico, una oportunidad única que tengo que aprovechar. Pero afortunadamente hay mucha gente que ha demostrado su fe en esta plataforma y que demuestra que sabe y quiere trabajar en equipo. Aprovecho para reconocer el trabajo extraordinario que han venido haciendo @historiasamorlez y @equipodelta en nuestra comunidad de @la-colmena y que ha permitido que todo siga funcionando y que sigamos apoyando a la comunidad de habla hispana.

Considero que el nacimiento de los tokens ha sido un gran aporte y el nacimiento de las tribus, un paso importante. Tengo gran expectativa en las nacientes colmenas (hives) y considero que va a ser de gran importancia el cambio que se va a hacer de poder convertir tu Steem Power a Steem en 4 semanas, en lugar de las 13 establecidas hasta ahora.

Estoy convencido de que el futuro de Steem es prometedor y aprovecho para invitar a toda la comunidad a involucrarse en todos los aspectos que rigen en esta plataforma. Uno de los aspectos más resaltantes de la “descentralización”, es la oportunidad (que yo llamaría “necesidad”) de involucrarnos en su gobierno. Somos nosotros los que decidimos el presente y el futuro de esta plataforma.

Für manche Dinge sind zwei Jahre eine lange Zeit, aber es gibt andere, bei denen die Zeit vergeht, ohne dass man es merkt. Vor ein paar Tagen wurde ich zwei Jahre auf dieser Plattform, und deshalb wollte ich diese Einschätzung kurz machen, aber ich hoffe, auch prägnant.

Als ich hier ankam, hatte ich keine Kenntnisse über Krypto-Wirkungen, Blockchain und viel weniger über Steem. Es waren also zwei Jahre des Lernens, mit Fehlern, mit Erfolgen. Zuerst mit Unsicherheit und zunehmend mit der Gewissheit, in einem außergewöhnlichen und schönen Projekt zu sein.

Die Art und Weise, wie mir das Projekt vorgestellt wurde, war fast wie ein Geldautomat: Man veröffentlicht und sammelt Geld. Und es lohnt sich zu sagen, dass es damals so funktionierte, wegen des damaligen Preises des Steems. Deshalb waren viele Leute frustriert, als sie den Preisrückgang sahen und das Gefühl hatten, dass der Geldautomat nicht mehr auf die gleiche Weise funktionierte.

Aber all diese "enttäuschten" Menschen verstanden nicht, dass die Steem-Plattform etwas viel Größeres und viel Versprechenderes war. Eine Gelegenheit, einen Raum offener Kommunikation zu schaffen, ohne Zensur, ohne Grenzen, mit der einzigen Einschränkung, "kreativ und originell" zu sein.

Es gab viele Ziele, die ich mir am Anfang gesetzt hatte, aber das Leben führte mich in verschiedene Richtungen. Eines meiner Ziele war zum Beispiel eine enge Verbindung mit der deutschsprachigen Community, aber ich kann kaum einen Teil meiner Inhalte auf Deutsch veröffentlichen, da mich die Arbeit mit der spanischsprachigen Gemeinschaft völlig absorbiert hat. Ich erwähne dies jedoch nicht als Bedauern, denn die Arbeit in der letztgenannten Gemeinschaft ist sehr befriedigend, und ich würde ihr gerne mehr Zeit und Mühe widmen können.

Was ich an dieser Plattform am wertvollsten finde, abgesehen von dem bereits erwähnten Vorteil, dass ich einen Raum habe, in dem ich mich völlig frei ausdrücken kann, ist, dass Steem einen dazu zwingt, sich zu erneuern, sich über die Grenzen hinaus zu wagen, neue Herausforderungen auszuprobieren.

All diese Qualitäten sind absorbierend, denn man will immer weiter gehen und mehr tun. Deshalb ist Steem für viele Benutzer zum Zentrum ihrer Aktivitäten geworden. Und ich kann Ihnen versichern, dass es sich lohnt.

In diesem Moment und zum ersten Mal in diesen zwei Jahren musste ich von einigen Verpflichtungen, die ich auf der Plattform eingegangen bin, Abstand nehmen, um ein echtes Lebensprojekt als Musiker zu vollenden, eine einzigartige Gelegenheit, die ich nutzen muss. Aber glücklicherweise gibt es viele Menschen, die ihr Vertrauen in diese Plattform gezeigt haben und die zeigen, dass sie wissen und als Team arbeiten wollen. Ich möchte diese Gelegenheit nutzen, um die außerordentliche Arbeit zu würdigen, die @historiasamorlez und @equipodelta in unserer Gemeinschaft von @la-colmena geleistet haben und die es ermöglicht hat, dass alles weiterhin funktioniert und dass wir die spanischsprachige Community weiterhin unterstützen.

Ich betrachte die Geburt der tokens als einen großen Beitrag und die Geburt der Stämme als einen wichtigen Schritt. Ich setze große Erwartungen in die neuen Bienenstöcke (Hives), und ich bin der Meinung, dass es von großer Bedeutung sein wird, dass die Veränderung, die vorgenommen wird, in 4 Wochen Ihre Steem Power in Steem umwandeln kann, anstatt der 13, die bisher eingerichtet waren.
