Great photos and I didn't realise the archaic law regarding the photographing of them had been rescinded!
Creating spheres or domes from triangles or other polygons is known as geodesic design and the mathematical formulae are complicated as hell. Just saying :-)

I was shocked they were actually going after people for violating copyright for simply photographing a tourist attraction. Seems like in the end the ubiquitousness of cell phones and selfies made it impossible to enforce. I imagine creating a geodesic design of that scale must have been quite a feat of engineering.
