That seems like a great museum. I never got the chance to go when I visited Seattle, next time.
I've always wanted to see a SR-71 Blackbird. I guess the A-12 will have to do. You are correct, P-38L is a neat plane. A shame they didn't get a Space Shuttle.
I've spent several years in the northwest and this is my first time here. I'd say this one is second to the Smithsonian Udvar-Hazy in Washington DC, which has an actual Space Shuttle, and the Enola Gay B-29. The Evergreen museum in Oregon also has a great collection, including the Hughes Spruce Goose.
I went to the space museum near Orlando when I was a kid, that was really neat. They had a lot of space stuff there, but at the time the shuttle I saw would have been a fake.
Hard to believe it's been almost a decade since they stopped. within the next couple of years, NASA should have more vehicles that can take people up. I hope they can do it before the decade.
That is so cool!! Your aviation museum is so much more advanced than ours. The NASA gear and rocket engine is interesting, there is always time to get a retired shuttle, never know. Great post, thanks for sharing :)
We have a lot of northern bush planes for discovering/building the Arctic + a lot of their pilots were women because they weren't allowed to fly solo in the US at the time. We have pretty much the same war planes you do. I was going to write a post about it soon but now I just feel like I would be copying you...hehe. Truthfully, it's been sitting on the back burner for over a year, what is a little while longer!
For sure, as with most things for a post, I just choose a couple photos I find interesting to talk about and research. There are not enough hours in the day to do otherwise.

Oh wow, never thought about the existence of a plane museum! But it rocks!
I'd love to see these huge toys in real life!
Are there any aircraft museums in Romania?

Only one! In Bucharest, the capital of Romania. Definitely need to visit it next time I'm in Bucharest and share the impressions! :)
That would be cool! Tag me if you do!

Now I have another reason for visiting Seattle! No doubt there much more there than you could cover in a post this size...

Love aircraft museums they really have some interesting ones in there great history amongst all them 👍
For sure, and they take up so much room, they tend to get spread out, so you can find interesting aircraft in many places.
