The city changes its face with the winter holidays, with the end of year holidays. Children's joy, snow, and lights in parks, boulevards and Christmas fairs.
This year we have no snow. In fact, we have been feeling for many years that the winter is not over when it should be. It is no longer the same. Many years ago the winter was a whole season, with a lot of snow. A very beautiful season!
In the absence of snow it remains to enjoy the beauty of the lights in the trees. The night in the park has turned into a fairy tale.
The Christmas lights start right from the backyard of my house. A small solar lamp still has the power to illuminate.
An ordinary Sunday has turned into a beautiful and sublime Sunday only with a walk at night in the park next to the house.
This is the first Christmas when the park is adorned with thousands of bulbs. The light bulbs cover the big tree.
The park is called Basilescu because it was made a hundred years ago on the land that belonged to this rich lawyer. It also established the Bucharest Noi neighborhood where I live. For all these, the generous received a small statue to remain in our memory.
We tried to see the lights from all sides and from all the alleys.
It was a pleasant walk, a beautiful end of the day and week ...
... and next week we are going to 2020! I hope with all my heart to be a very good year for us.
