Exploring Korg iMono/Poly ( Dtube )
This video explores the powerhouse Korg iMono/Poly iOS. Recreating their classic hardware synth on the iPad, Korg creates one of the best sounding iOS synths I've ever touched.
: The Sound :
This thing sounds amazing. Shredding leads, deep bass, electro synths lines, spaced out pads or trippy fx, this can do it all. The Korg Mono/Poly sounds very deep, lush and feels amazing to play on a keyboard controller. The reaction and feeling you get feels very much like hardware, pure emotion.
: Expandable Presets :
128 presets cover a lot of sound range from the start with no tweaking needed, these presets are really well done in classic Korg style. You get multi template presets for help crafting your own sounds. The store offers extra preset packs if you feel the need to expand the sounds without crafting your own.
: 4 VCO :
iMono/Poly rocks four VCO's giving it a unique sound that just might be the standard for future iOS synthesizers. Standard hardware and software synths have anywhere between 1/3 VCO's. Adding a fourth VCO's really thickens the sounds and adds a lot of new options in sound design.
: Korg Gadget Friendly :

Sweet I love synthesizers! I have a Korg Minilogue and I absolutely love using it on my songs. I haven't heard of this iOS synth before, thanks for bringing it to my attention!
