CHAPTER 20 AND FINAL

Safe haven. This word captured my mind and I never understood it.it has a meaning surely,
A deep one.
Safe haven. Is there an unsafe haven? And it’s haven not heaven. So it can’t mean certainly a good thing.
I like how it sounds, I feel warm and that’s what means to me.
Stumble and fall, baby steps. Baby grows mother dies.
He was safe in safe haven.

It says a man is a lad and remains so, until his mother dies, within a moment he’s becoming this old man he is. So miserable and broken, feeling this urge to get back in the womb.
Renaissance and unite with his mother.
This reminds me of a movie who made me cry back when I was just a kid, still hazy English reading Arabic subtitles.
I remember David the protagonist. The movie was called AI ( artificial intelligence) and it was released in 2001. AI was a strange word back then. It was merely fictional and now what do you know it’s becoming our reality.
However, David was men made but made with care, so no one could have noticed.
His real core of what he was made of, except fore his human mother and his creators.

“I am David , I am not pinokio !”
These words , gives you Goosebumps , making you shiver , made me burst into tears.
It was so catchy , the way David said it and when he did.
Everyone knows how the movie ended with David chasing the dream of becoming a real boy
Because he never perceived the fact of being a robot

Eventually, David got to live one single day with his mother and actually felt like a real boy and slept for the first time
He is a robot but with a revolutionary mutation, he had a consciousness and able to feel
Everybody could evolve like David, everyone could live long but David choose to live only one day with his mother.
We could all be influenced by David but could never be David.

We can all live an eternity and remain young, but if there was a wisdom and welfare in that
We could have had it.

But look to what David did , he gave all that away in exchange to a single day with a loved one. And you are still complaining of how life is being unfair and short.
What makes a difference here , is that what you do with one single day of your life , how to spend one day and feel alive with whom who makes you feel that way or else you whole life is a waste.

So , after all we do have an eternity on this planet. A day, a good one for a thousand years.
