a MAZE

Humans have been fascinated by mazes for centuries.

There is a distinction between a maze and a labyrinth; that being that a labyrinth, while at times confusing, does not have branching pathways.

Do you know of the old Greek myth about Theseus?
Athenians had to sacrifice seven young men to the Minotaur every nine years.
The third (3)* time, Theseus was sent. Ariadne gave him a magic sword and a ball of thread to find his way out.

The maze is 33 x 33 cells. (*)

Have you heard of the right hand rule? If you follow the right wall with your hand, eventually you will find a way out.

A-maze-ing.

What about the left hand, it should work the same with the left one as well :P

We should try it somewhere to see :) I know that the rule does not work on all type of mazes (etc hexagonal and other).

Thanks for the distinction between mazes and labyrinths. By the way, looks like brain

@papasomniferum can you source that distinction from anywhere by the way?

fun fact: theseus never married ariadne but her sister, fedra. gods had mercy on her so dionysus took her as his wife. moral of the story: don't help someone out of the maze, a maze is something we need to all solve by ourselves. :D keep up the work! :)
