Ode to the House
A Sonnet
by memeon
My deadpan house, you inspire me to write.
I love the way you cuddle, hide and run,
Invading my mind day and through the night,
Always dreaming about the bright homerun.
Let me compare you to a sanctuary?
You are more creepy, solid and tiny.
Snow chills the berries of January,
And wintertime has the gracious swiney.
How do I love you? Let me count the ways.
I love your sheepy smile, thigh and toenails.
Thinking of your sleepy thigh fills my days.
My love for you is the excellent thales.
Now I must away with a sweepy heart,
Remember my light words whilst we're apart.
