A little hedgehog. Drawing with markers

Hello, Steemit! If you do not know me yet - my name is Irina and I'm an artist from Russia. I will be glad to find new friends).

Today I will show my small quick drawing of a hedgehog with alcohol markers.
For the drawing, I used the alcohol markers Sketchmarker, Potentate, Touch, a white permanent pencil and a white gel pen.
Used colors: orange, umbra, gray, pink, black, beige, brown, rosy brown.








I drew with pencil the contours of the hedgehog.


Then started to draw needles. I painted the needles with a beige marker. Painted the muzzle and the paws of the animal with a pink marker.





Then drew a fluffy fur of the animal. To do this, I showed with beige marker the direction of the hairs by lines.





Next, I pinched the needles with a brown color, deepening the color and strengthening the shadows.





I painted with umbra marker ears, nose and eyes of the hedgehog. I drew the volume and shadows on them, repeating the layers of the color. With gray marker drew shadows on the neck and paws.





Once again I painted with a brown color the needles with a brown color to strengthen the shadows. Added shadows with rosy brown marker to the muzzle. I tried to draw with thin tip, making lines on the form.





I drew with a white gel pen the glare on needles and fur, added glare on the eyes and nose. With gray marker strengthened the shadows on the neck and legs of the animal.





I painted the background. For the background, used three colors - neutral gray, dark gray and black, making a gradient fill with smooth transitions.





Finally, I made some final touches. I drew the brightest pencil on the needles and nose with a white permanent pencil. With gray marker increased the contrast of the picture. Drew with umbra marker the falling shadow of the animal on the background. My picture is ready.
