Amazing Art From Disposed And Used Tyres

A unique art has emerged from disposed and used tyres in Nigeria, Lagos.

The bad habit of disposing used and bad tyres recklessly is rather prevalent in certain parts of Nigeria, Lagos. Although some companies recycle these tyres into shoes and related items, the challenge needs some more intervention.

Nkwocha Ernest is a Lagos-based artist who has come up with an environmentally friendly solution and creates artwork pieces using condemned and used tyres.

Ernest saw these and decided to make something out of it. He sees it as a monument with which he can make something beautiful from and with this little gesture, he has become an internet sensation.
