Creation or Evolution?

in #creation7 years ago

This is one of the biggest debates ever! Creationism is based on faith, Evolution as well is based on faith. No one today can observe the beginning of the universe to see which one took place. A lot of people think evolution has been proven because of Darwin’s observation of finches. The thing is, they didn’t changed species, they remain a bird and still a finch. The same thing that would happened if a whole family changed their diet for a couple generations. They may have certain features that have adapted, but they would still be humans. They’re both interesting ideas to think about, but I choose the creation route. We’re more intelligent than any computer made and self awareness tells me that it’s not some freak of nature accident. If we made a robot in the future that is self aware - imagine all the years work and innovation that would have to place for that to happen. Even at such a great accomplishment, they wouldn’t be able to reproduce. What do you think! I’m not here to say anyone is wrong and won’t tell you that, but I’d love to hear your perspective!

I think we're intelligently designed to evolve!

Creation for sure!

I believe it as a creation since if it was an evolution it should happen now also . Good article.

I agree with that! Thanks a lot :)

Good points. I couldn't upvote your post because it's too close to the payout time but I did resteem it. God bless!

That’s no problem, I understand! Thanks a lot for resteeming - I really appreciate it! I’ll upvote, resteem one of your post and follow you!

You're right. There are many assumptions involved on the evolutionist's part. The real issue are the pre-believes one takes to the evidence. If one holds to a naturalistic worldview, that the whole universe is a closed system and nothing intervenes from the outside, what else can be the necessary conclusion than the theory of evolution?

Great response! Thanks a lot!

That's a simple truth Robert Morey from "Faith Defenders" uses to point out: Your starting point will determine where you will end. If you start with man (instead of God and his word) you will end by man. Also, if you start with an naturalistic framework you will come to naturalistic conclusions. The means will determine the ends. If one starts with God, he will end by God. There is no neutrality possible rather an unavoidable antithesis where friendship with that (system of the) world equals to enmity with God.

Creation. I know I won't be able to defend my answer really well when it comes to this subject. But all I know is that nothing can exist unless someone created it. Its a simple truth. I think some are just complicating what's so simple.

That’s exactly how I see it! Thanks for the awesome reply!

Noticeable evolution happens over hundreds of thousands of years, and it is happening all around us with many other species right now. To help clarify your thoughts about Darwin's studies, a "bird" is not a species. A finch is a species of bird. And there are hundreds of them, while there are thousands more bird species.
Also, you cannot say humans will evolve because they changed their diet for few generations. Otherwise we would be an entirely different species than peoples who lived 3000-5000 years ago like the Egyptians and Greeks. They had very different diets than us yet we are all Homo Sapiens Sapiens.
And if the earth was created, how old do you think it is?

If evolution takes place over a course of hundreds of thousands of years, how did Darwin have the time to observe any type of evolution that’s measurable? What I was trying to say is - Evolution says we evolved from ocean life into what we are today. The finches didn’t evolve into something even remotely opposite of itself or species. It was still a bird and still noticeable as a finch. it didn’t change from a bird into a human, which if observed, would be solid proof of evolution. Evolution is not proven, nor is creation. We can’t observe the beginning of the universe, we can only theorize. My guess is that there’s something to the existence of life that’s more complex than we can comprehend with any type of technology at this point. Even from the vast space of nothing, if an explosion came known as the Big Bang, where did that come from? Evolution is a theory and Intelligent design is faith. I don’t mind what anyone chooses though. If everyone agreed with one another, then we’d never find a solution to anything. That’s the beauty of life :)
