My Cat Relaxing On A Piece Of Wood

Yes, my cat looks pretty comfortable there on that piece of wood. Seems like the cat is always relaxing. I guess she has it made. She doesn't have to worry about paying any bills at all.

Can you imagine if people had not bills at all? Well, I guess people could relax more, but then maybe we are not to relax more.

That reminds me of some scripture, And I will say to my soul, Soul, thou hast much goods laid up for many years; take thine ease, eat, drink, and be merry. But God said unto him, Thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall those things be, which thou hast provided? Luke 12:19-20.

So we are to always be watching and praying, as it is written, with Jesus speaking, Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak. Matthew 26:41.

About relaxing that makes me think of other scripture, as it is written, Yet a little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to sleep: So shall thy poverty come one that travelleth; and thy want as an armed man. Proverbs 24:33-34.

So we must keep working in the day, as it is written, with Jesus speaking, I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work. John 9:4.

That reminds me of the ants as they look like they are always working, as it is written, The ants are a people not strong, yet they prepare their meat in the summer; Proverbs 30:25.

That reminds me of more scripture, as it is written, with Jesus speaking, But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming; And shall begin to smite his fellowservants, and to eat and drink with the drunken; The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of, And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. Matthew 24:48-51.

That weeping and gnashing of teeth has to do with hell. Jesus did talk a lot about hell, like the worm that dieth not and fire that is not quenched. As it is written, Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched. Mark 9:44.

Did you know that Isaiah mentioned the worm the dieth not and the fire is not quenched also, as it is written, And they shall go forth, and look upon the carcases of the men that have transgressed against me: for their worm shall not die, neither shall their fire be quenched; and they shall be an abhorring unto all flesh. Isaiah 66:24.

So we started with a relaxing cat and ending with hell. Well, to avoid hell we must repent, accept Jesus and do the will of the Father. What is the will of the Father? To live by every word that preceded from the mouth of God. So we must really get into the scriptures.

As it is written, For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little: Isaiah 28:10.

Let's end with a scripture, Till I come, give attendance to reading, to exhortation, to doctrine. 1 Timothy 4:3.
