Evidence Mounts Lazarus Group Is Targeting Cyber Banks, Crypto Firms

The recreated its targeting of adventure capital enterprises, crypto startups and banks. Cybersecurity lab Kaspersky related Sunday that the group has shown a shaft in exertion since April 1.

The Lazarus Group is a notorious playing association that has been linked to the North Korean governance. It has been criticized for the WannaCry ransomware attack that crippled enterprises around the world in 2017 and for intrusions into Sony Pictures Entertainment, AT&T and other companies. It's also believed to have been responsible for cyberattacks on South Korean cryptocurrency exchanges last time.

Kaspersky said it detected further than 100 new vicious IP addresses from the Lazarus Group starting April 1. The troop also noted that some of those IP addresses refocused to known waiters used by hackers associated with Lazarus Group attacks dating back to 2017.
