in #craigwright5 years ago

The case started in 2018 when the brother of Wright's late business partner Dave Cleiman filed a $10 billion lawsuit in which he said Wright was trying to steal the bitcoins he did not owe. Wright and Dave Kleiman are expected to have together produced 1.1 million BTC in 2009-2011. Wright claims that access to Bitcoin was lost with Clayman's death.

The case is not closed, as there are a number of other legal proceedings to be undertaken, including access to troubled assets. However, the decision on the merits of the case has been taken.

According to a source familiar with the situation, the judge did not find Wright's words credible, but refused to confirm or deny the version of whether the creator of the Bitcoin, who was hiding under the pseudonym of Satoshi Nakamoto.

The decision of the justices of the peace must be approved by Federal District Judge Beth Bloom before it will take effect. Wright cannot request a review by a jury, but can appeal.
