Handmade Giraffe Pottery
My best friend came by my house to check on me, and take me to the grocery store. She showed me a flat bowl that she made in her pottery class.
She and I used to take that same pottery class together two years ago. I stopped going, but she continued to go. When she showed me one of her latest projects, I told her that I thought that it was really pretty. She gave it to me and said that she had no more room in her house for all of her projects. I think that it is very unique.
The head and the back of the giraffe were made with a mold. The bowl was hand built out of clay. She asked if I wanted her to bring my pottery projects inside of the house from my garage, but I told her that I would rather concentrate on knitting and crocheting until I can walk again. I have enough to work with for the next few weeks before I have to go outside to be crafty.
