Fundraising for needy families. We have a determination to help people in crisis but without YOUR SUPPORT AND HELP through Donations, it is not possible.

As COVID-19 continues to spread, more individuals, communities, and entire nations are feeling the impact in their daily lives. Beyond the global health crisis, the coronavirus is having a severe economic impact on individuals, small businesses, and medical organizations.

The urgent need for a lock down has placed hundreds of thousands of individuals across the globe in quarantine or self-isolation, there is a growing need for support and help. The government Covid-19 support is a welcome relief but not adequate for many. Families cannot even pay the full rent with the amount issued. So essentials like food and medicine will be short in supply for many families. People are also being affected by the sudden increase in job loss and business shut down due to COVID-19. This will leave many families in dire situations.

Our priority will be:

1. Seniors in urgent need

2. Families helpless after the loss of a job or Self-employed not covered by government package

3. Single mother in crisis

4. Homeless people or food bank users not able to get adequate help

5. College or University students

The estimated cost of each package consisting of 4 items from below would approximately be $85.

1. Non-perishable foods

2. Sanitation products (Depending on availability)

3. Hygiene products

4. COVID-19 awareness pamphlet (provided both in English & French)

Our goal is to raise $500,000 funds for those who are in need. The target is to distribute 5000 packages. The coverage area will be the Greater Toronto Area. (Cities like Guelph, Hamilton, Burlington, Oakville, Mississauga, Brampton, Milton, Toronto, Vaughn, Pickering, Ajax, Whitby, Oshawa will be covered). It may be extended beyond GTA as deemed fit.

Our team

We are a group of concerned community members who have recently come together to help neighbours in need. We acknowledge with gratitude the collective efforts of any volunteers and those who signed up and became a core part of this team.

Note: No volunteers will be paid any dollar amount. The only expenses will be transportation fuel and packing costs. So we have almost no overhead expense for the entire operation.

To avoid spreading corona-virus, we will take strict measures to make sure every step of the way that we are following government laid rules. Everyone's health and safety are important.
