Volunteers show side effects after receiving Moderna and Pfizer COVID-19 vaccines
Volunteers who received two of the possible coronavirus vaccines in the US have talked about the side effects they experienced after taking it.
This month, Moderna and Pfizer announced that their vaccine candidates had been effectively tested 94.5 percent and 95 percent, respectively.
And Jennifer Haller, who was injected on March 16 with the experimental vaccine of Moderna in Seattle, told WVPI-TV that she experienced only mild side effects, write the foreign media, reports Telegrafi.
"I had two doses of the vaccine four weeks apart," she told the broadcaster.
"Every time I took it, my arm was very 'sore' the next day, but other than that I personally did not experience any other side effects."
Ms. Haller was the first person to receive a vaccine from the Moderna candidate as part of the first human trial of a vaccine to prevent the virus.
Meanwhile California resident Daniel Horowitz, who took part in the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine test in September, described flu-like symptoms.
The Pfizer test was done in such a way that doctors as well as patients do not know who is getting the vaccine or placebo, so Mr Horowitz is not aware if he got the vaccine.
If those who were administered with placebo are reporting symptoms like those with the vaccine, how can it be concluded that symptoms stemmed from the vaccine??
