The vaccines still prevent hospitalization and death. As of May the risk of hospitalization was 3.5x higher and the risk of death 9x higher among the unvaccinated compared to the vaccinated.

There is no waiting period after an infection anymore. Before, they had enforced this due to supply shortages, from 6 months to 3 months, and now zero. Now it's a soft recommendation to wait 3 months post infection.
