Evusheld is no longer recommended for use in the US as most circulating variants are not susceptible to it. Fortunately we do have other treatments that are still effective. For first line use, Paxlovid and remdesivir, or as a second-line choice, molnupiravir, are all still effective at reducing the risk of severe COVID. In some individuals, high titer convalescent plasma may be effective if no other treatments are applicable.

And of course a high quality mask and good ventilation can help prevent an infection in the first place. If you are able to, make sure you are up to date on your vaccination. The bivalent vaccine works against XBB, the dominant variant.
