It amazes me how much time and effort folks put into their costumes.

My Son spent about 4 months making a "Chosen Undead" costume (from Dark Souls). He made all his chainmail shirt and skirt by wrapping wire around a pipe, then cutting and soldering every link. The armor was all carved foam.

I can't find a picture at the moment, but the end result was almost identical to the character.
