RE: CORONA VIRUS: (always) look on the bright side(s) of life

in #coronavirus4 years ago

'As some believe that keeping an open mind and looking at the situation from a different perspective is the same as not caring, or worse.
Examples of how worse it is, in most horrible details, will get thrown at those who try to put things into perspective. End of discussion.'

Talking about putting things in perspective: below some facts I received on my phone last Friday from someone.
(rough and rounded numbers for sake of the argument)

Coronavirus 31 dec - 12 March
128.000 infected, 68000 recovered already. just below 5.000 deaths in over 10 weeks time = 71 deaths per day.

WHO 290.000 - 650.000 deaths a year globally, because of "normal flu = 800 - 1.800 per day.

UNICEF: 8.000.000 children die of poverty each year = 22.000 per day.

WHO: Almost 10.000.000 of cancer = 27.000 per day.

WHO: 18.000.000 cardiovasculaire diseases - 50.000 per day.

WHO: 222.093 young people between age 10-29 committed suicide in 2016 = 608 per day.

CDC : 1.350.00 die in traffic = 3.700 per day.

And on top of it all, Trump now blaming Europe for the "explosion" of the virus.

There, a nice piece to read, with in it the possibility that it might be very well the case that it's originated in the US.
The Bastard!

Have a great one mate, latex.

Those numbers, facts, sure put things in perspective Amigo...

And I suspected that this outbreak could actually be caused by a human 'mistake'. Again a subject that people will give you a 'tin foil hat' award for if you even dare to hint at it.

Even the thought of the excistence of military labratories for viral / bacteriological research makes my inner alarm-bells ring like crazy. For what purpose? Because 'the enemy' also is suspected to do so? Or whatever. Idiots...

And Trump, is that not that guy who made a complete fool of himself (again) when he visited MIT? Stating he was considered a genius, as he thought he well might be.

And you know, I do not know what scares me more, a clear nutcase like that stating all these weird things and being able to launch nukes. Or the masses of dumbed down people who would blindly follow his orders, now getting a scapegoat handed to target their anger at.

No matter what though, have a great one anyway buddy!

Maybe I'll go for a walk, scoring some Vitamin D.

Latex!

To be honest: I had "high" hopes when the man got president. (although I also think the American people had to choose the lesser of two evils back then).
Sadly he turned out to be the same old shit, who made the big fat ugly bubble (he was former presidents accusing of) twice as big.
And the big question is not IF it bursts, but WHEN it bursts.
And we the people will pay for that eventually.

A genius, huhhh. The word I used in a comment somewhere else last week was WINDBAG I believe. And even that is an understatement.

They should wear sponsor badges on their suits Amigo. That would clear things up.

And I do agree, it is all about when it bursts...

Still the many will swallow the shit down as if it were chocolate.
