Impressive - China builds Hospital in 10 days. But is it a Hospital ?
I was impressed to see how this Hospital was built in 10 days in Wuhan ... but taking a closer look you can see that there are bars on the windows.
What kind of Hospital is this ? A prison ? Something else ?
What is going on here ? What is the source of this virus ?

they apparently shot a women trying to flee out of a quarantined city yesterday, so prison hospitals aren't a surprise.
I think it is more serious than they are letting on.
agreed. when you have 1/6th of the worlds population packed into a single country, and people go into survival mode, it doesn't take long for millions of people to be exterminated if they are a risk to everyone else. It's not right, but such actions are a possibility.
They better find a cure. Quickly.
Have to wait and see.

I think this is a very serious situation. I hope this can be contained and a cure found soon.

Thank you very much @pele23
It's a temporary facility, built from prefabricated, modular components brought in on trucks like a mobile home, and fused together from the outside. Is this an impressive feat of construction? Yes. Is it as impressive as they're making it out to be? No.
Now, as for the locks... sigh
I'm sorry to say, when we're discussing quarantine of a potentially lethal and virulent virus, locking the infected inside actually IS standard quarantine procedure. That's not the part that is unsettling. The part that's unsettling is when you combine the two notions above.
Why does China just happen to have prefabricated, modular, containment facilities designed to lock people inside, just lying around waiting to be speed-built?
