I deeply appreciate the rational arguments presented here, however, voluminous evidence of novel infectious disease and a novel pathogen have been revealed. It's not the same coronavirus we got last year, according to more than a dozen papers I have read. SARS2 causes lymphopenia, destruction of lymphocytes that are the building blocks of our immune system, and results in a form of AIDS. It can attack ACE2 expressing cells, such as in the lungs, kidneys, liver, and testes - possibly causing infertility in men.
I've also read papers by Shi Zhengli,one of the premier virologists in the world, who works at the Wuhan Institute of Virology, where she is known as the 'bat lady' for her abiding interest in bat coronaviruses. I read her statements regarding adding ACE2 attack function to SARS-like bat coronaviruses, and using HIV as a source of parts for her chimerae.
There's a reason this isn't the coronavirus we got last year, and it's because she, and WIV researchers in Canada, Australia, and North Carolina, have been adding functions to bat coronaviruses and sending their work home to WIV in China. This isn't the seasonal flu because they've added an executioner's list of attacks to the seasonal flu, and then let it out of the lab in Wuhan.
It's orders of magnitude more lethal than seasonal flu, orders of magnitude more infectious than seasonal flu, and is infectious for weeks before it causes symptoms at all in those spreading it.
It's not the flu.
However, the assault on society being undertaken by governments around the world is worse than the pandemic. From the very beginning, censorship of factual information has been undertaken, and has continually increased, particularly after the WHO met with social media platforms and demanded they end the 'infodemic'. They have done a lot to keep us from knowing the truth and understanding what to do. That makes us helpless, and dependent on them that claim to know the truth, whatever that may be.
They didn't censor the scientific papers though, because the public doesn't read them. It's notable that China crushed leaks of the news of the outbreak, even arresting doctors that sounded the alarm. The 'official' stats of epicenters of pandemic disease are utterly false and understated, which even very simple people can understand is being done because many places like the US, Italy, and the UK aren't making much effort to test. Iran and China never had the testing capacity to track numbers.
They're lying to us incessantly about this pandemic, and that leaves us vulnerable to their power grabs and financial seizures. I've read the US is preparing to take ownership interest in entire sectors of the economy. That's Fascism, plain and simple, and the destruction of our republic.
Just because the disease is real doesn't mean the fascist dictatorship isn't. In a few years the survivors of the pandemic will be through that fire, but the Orwellian oppression will just have begun, and that will be a far deadlier disease.
