Humanity is a Virus & Other Covid19 Lessons

As with any major crisis, a great number of people are looking for answers during this coronavirus ordeal, asking why this is taking place, why is this new virus (if that is indeed what it even is) wreaking havoc on the human race, why has practically the whole world been put into a lockdown, why is the economy shutdown and why are do many people appear to be losing everything they’ve worked their whole lives for - their jobs and income, their careers, businesses, pensions, retirement funds, etc.

It is no secret that in times of major crisis such as these, whether entirely authentic or manufactured to achieve a desired end by the power elite, people looking for such answers and for deeper meaning in life often run to religion and to churches. Indeed, after 9/11 church attendance in America was at the highest it had ever been, for a few short weeks anyway...

But sadly, in my opinion anyway, churches and religious leaders aren’t always the best places to go when looking for the deeper meaning behind such events. I have seen several preachers proclaiming that this coronavirus is a sign of the ‘end times’, that it is a means of God pouring out his wrath on mankind as punishment for rejecting the beliefs of Christianity, and that to avoid imminent damnation that will soon take place when God eventually destroys this earth and all the wicked people who remain upon it, the people must “repent and believe in Jesus.” Of course what they mean is turn to the church and its interpretation of the Bible, believe in the Christian dogmas, believe that Jesus died as a blood sacrifice to atone for your sins and appease the wrath of this so-called loving God so he doesn’t cast you into eternal torment when you die, and then wait for the end to come and trust that you will now ‘go to heaven’ when you die.

Christian leaders capitalize on every single major crisis such as this to make more converts by playing on the fear of those seeking for a deeper meaning and for answers. However from my point of view, it is much more likely that any coming destruction of the earth will be caused by humanity, not by an angry god, and that this entire covid19 crisis is not divine punishment but simply a case of humanity reaping what it has for decades been sowing, and at the same time acting as a major reflection of what the mass human consciousness has become.

Instead of punishment, maybe this is a massive wake up call, an attempt by the universe (or God, if you will) to prod humanity out of its stupor and make us realize that if we do not change our ways, then we will soon end up destroying both this planet and ourselves.

If we look at this entire situation through the lens of a universe that can only act as a mirror, reflecting back to us that which is within us, then this entire covid19 event takes on a whole new meaning, particularly when one also factors in the role of karma. Karma is simply the universal law of cause and effect - what goes around comes around, you reap what you sow. And I have become convinced that everything in this world is indeed but a reflection of that which is within us, whether our deepest fears or greatest desires. Many ancient spiritual traditions teach this concept, which is further supported by modern discoveries in quantum physics, and I have been further convinced of this worldview through my own personal experience. Gregg Braden’s works do a good job of bridging the gap between the ancient traditions and modern quantum physics to explain this ‘universe as a mirror’ concept in easy to understand scientific and spiritual language. For anyone interested in further delving into this, the Seven Essene Mirrors is a good place to start, in my opinion.

For decades, humanity through factory farming has been raising animals in the most despicable prison-like conditions for the slaughter. Millions of innocent animals have been condemned to live their entire lives in the darkest and most cruel conditions, imprisoned as they await their certain death, led to their slaughter in a state of fear as they sense what is coming. All this to satisfy man’s greed, to increase corporate Big Food profit, and to satiate and satisfy society’s addiction to animal flesh as the main source of food.

Now millions of humans are locked in their homes, imprisoned in a state of fear and worry, whether by government-imposed house arrest or voluntary self isolation, not knowing when it will end, and wondering if they will be next to catch this virus and possibly die. Maybe humanity is simply reaping what it has for decades been sowing.

As Pythagoras so pointedly explained: “As long as man continues to be the ruthless destroyer of lower living beings he will never know health or peace. For as long as men massacre animals, they will kill each other. Indeed, he who sows the seed of murder and pain cannot reap joy and love."

It can hardly be argued that humanity has become a deadly and destructive virus, killing and destroying everything in its path to satisfy its greed and push for total domination. Through war, the pillaging of all natural resources at an unsustainable rate in the name of industrialization and economic gain, large-scale worldwide pollution of the air, soil and water, poisoning of the earth and all life on it with a large assortment of poisonous chemicals, including cancer-causing insecticides, harmful fertilizers and pharmaceutical drugs, to nuclear radiation and the release of depleted uranium; humanity has become a virus currently on a path which is quickly leading to the destruction of the earth, all life upon it, and even itself. The earth will likely survive such catastrophe, though being sent back to the Stone Age so to speak, while humanity likely will not.

Now this same humanity has been afflicted with what it believes to be a fast-spreading and deadly virus. Whether or not this is the case, it matters little, for this is what enough people believe and so for the masses, this is their reality. The same humanity that has become a virus is now itself faced with a new virus. What will we do?

Don’t get me wrong, I live my fellow brothers and sisters of humanity, and believe we above all other species on earth have the greatest capacity to extend compassion, do good and make the world a better place. But we also have the greatest capacity to do evil, inflict mass suffering and destroy everything good around us as can be seen just by looking at the current state of affairs. I believe if it wasn’t for the inherent capacity for good in man, that we likely would have already reached the point of self-destruction.

Most people in the West live the majority of their lives hiding behind various masks they create for themselves, refusing to be authentic. People drink alcohol before socializing, put on makeup and dye their hair to radically change their looks, wear some designer clothing only because they saw some TV ad pushing it or their favorite pop star wearing it, and for the most part they pretend to be someone they are not in an attempt to fit in to society or impress their friends or mimic their TV idols. Now millions of people are literally wearing masks because of this covid19 scare. The mask has come off so to speak, and people are being shown who and what they really are - terrified beings constantly hiding behind masks.

Mandatory social distancing is a totally new concept, but in reality the majority of people were for the most part already practicing another form of social distancing, just or labeled as such or enforced by the authorities. Smartphone and social media addiction had already created a culture of people who prefer online ‘friendship’ to friends in the real world, people who are increasingly socially handicapped whose only ‘reality’ is on their phone or online, people who ignore those who are right in front of their faces as they walk down the street because they are too busy constantly plugged into their phone, checking their Facebook, Twitter, or instant messaging their boyfriend, girlfriend or a total stranger. Now Western society is simply being forced to adhere to social distancing, which most had in essence already chosen and embraced.

Countless people who live in a state of constant and perpetual fear have now had those fears been brought to the forefront of their consciousness. That perpetual fear is now no longer hidden but out in the open for all to see. People who fear death are being faced with death, people who feared losing their jobs or businesses have lost their jobs, people terrified of sickness have now come face to face with what they perceive to be a new and deadly virus that has no cure (despite there actually being successful treatments that are being suppressed by Big Pharma and Western doctors), and those who fear a coming draconian NWO prison planet are being faced with just such a potential and quite possibly very near 1984-style future.

People are shocked, thinking how radically things have changed in just a short period of time since the beginning of this whole covid19 ‘pandemic’. In reality, not much has truly changed except on the surface; the true face of humanity has simply been brought to the surface for all to see, no longer hidden behind the thin veneers of normality as it once was. Humanity is simply being forced to look in the mirror, and it doesn’t like what it sees because it is only seeing a reflection of itself, and what it has become is not very beautiful to behold. The people have been living in a mental and spiritual prison for so long, and now they do not recognize that the new physical ‘prison’ this lockdown has created for them is really just a manifestation and reflection of that state of mental slavery they were already in.

Maybe as millions of people sit isolated at home, with much free time on their hands to contemplate life, they will begin to see, and to break free from this prison. Maybe the masses will begin to realize that neither the government, the TV, nor do most preachers have the real answers, which can only be found within each and every one of us. Maybe there will be a massive unplugging of the human consciousness from the Television, which is constantly telling lies to our vision, and a plugging into our own higher selves where all truth can be found, followed by a massive shift of human focus into the consciousness that unites us all as loving beings, that unites us with the rest of humanity, all animal life, and even the earth itself. Maybe we will free ourselves from the materialistic spell we have been put under by those programming our minds who seek to be our slave-masters.

And if we don’t heed this wake up call, maybe there will be even bigger and more violent ones to come, to try to shake us out of our mind-numbed slumber, and then maybe we will listen. Or maybe we will just go on being good obedient materialistic slaved, blindly supporting the very system that is destroying everything in our path, until there is nothing left to destroy, not even ourselves. The choice is up to us as members of the human race, where our destiny lies; whether it is one of destruction or one of healing, the choice is ours which path we choose to tread.

I choose the path of love rather than fear, I hope enough of us will do so before it is too late.
