Between June 14 and July 7, ten South American teams members of Conmebol and two Asian teams will compete in the 2019 America Cup in Brazil. In which cities will it be played? Who are the teams? What? The 46th edition of the America’s Cup will take place this year for the fifth time in Brazil, which was also hosted in 1919, 1922, 1949 and 1989. Fans will be able to see three FIFA World Cup champions. When? It will be played between June 14 and July 7, 2019.
Where are you going? The 26 matches will be distributed in 6 stadiums: Stadium Mineirão (Belo Horizonte), Arena do Grêmio (Porto Alegre), Stadium Maracanã (Rio de Janeiro), Arena Fonte Nova (Salvador), Arena Corinthians and Stadium Morumbi (São Paulo). Who are you talking about? The 10 South American member countries of CONMEBOL will play: Brazil, Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay and Venezuela. In addition, two members of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC), Japan and Qatar, will participate as guests.
