CookwithUs Trendy Cubes, Week 31. Hoppy Grapefruit
Grapefruit Hop Cube
Great with all bourbon, This Cube was made with Rocket Science IPA and Grapefruit Juice.
This cocktail shown was from original opening concept for a bar I helped start. It was a blend of Bourbon, Brandy IPA and Orange Bitters. I can not give out cocktail recipe.
But the Cube was equal parts IPA and Grapefruit.
This drink was garnished with a colonial seasoning salt.
Fullsteam Brewery is fantastic
They Use at least 10% local ingredients by weight for all their beers. And this one is closer to 15%. Part of the reason to buy local is to keep money in our communities. And this is just another way of keeping that going.
This was found to be a great mix for any bourbon. I had at least three the first night we tried it, Knob Creek Rye, Woodford and Makers. The latter was my own. I do not enjoy IPAs and Loved this.
I do bartend and do not get often to show my craft. We often say craft cocktails are like cooking with ice. Thanks for letting me making Cubes @CookwitUs

Awesome idea for an ice cube! The cocktail must change so much as the cube melts. I will definitely try this one. CwU should do more drink themes. Thanks for your entry.
